When referring to disc drives such as CD-ROM drives, eject refers to the action of moving the tray out of the drive or if a slot fed CD-ROM moving the CD out of the disk from the drive. In the below picture you can see the eject button on the far right-side of the driver and as can be seen is usually represented with a small triangle with a line under it.
