What resolution should I set my monitor to?

A monitor, or other display's resolution is up to what the user feels works best for them, and what the graphics card and monitor is capable of supporting. Below is a chart of recommended resolutions settings that you may want to take into consideration when setting your monitor resolution. When setting the resolution, remember the higher the resolution, the more crisp the picture will appear. However, higher resolutions will also decrease the overall size of objects being displayed such as text and icons.
