Unable to find monitor listed in Windows driver listing.

Cause:

Not all monitors are listed within the standard Windows driver listing because of the wide variety of monitors and monitors created after the operating system was created.

Solution:

It is not at all abnormal for a monitor to not have a driver diskette because of wide variety of compatible drivers Windows already has within its base load. If your monitor is not loading, select a monitor that has a similar or close model number to the monitor you have or install a standard monitor.
Additional Information:
Expect to see a drivers diskette or CD in one of the below circumstances.
  1. Monitor has special features, such as a USB monitor.
  2. Monitor is incompatible with the standard base load of Windows monitor drivers.
  3. Monitor settings are adjusted through software.
  4. Monitor has other advanced features not found on a standard monitor.
