Caddy

A container that holds something. For example, the image to the right is of a CD-ROM caddy, a container used on earlier Apple computer CD-ROM drives that would hold and protect the disc.

This caddy would be inserted into the drive with the CD instead of simply placing the CD into a computer like most CD and DVD drives today.
